הפרויקט הנוכחי מתמודד עם בעיה שכיחה של היווצרות קונדנסציה על עדשות במהלך פעילות אינטנסיבית, אשר מקטין את הראות דרך העדשה, דבר שעלול להוות סיכון קטלני במצבי לחימה. תופעת עיבוי זו מתרחשת כאשר אוויר חם ולח פוגש משטח קר, מה שמוביל לעיבוי אדי מים על העדשות, ויוצר ערפל שמפחית משמעותית את הבהירות. האתגר מתרחב מעבר ליישומים צבאיים לתרחישים יומיומיים שונים, ומדגיש את הצורך בפתרונות לשיפור הנוחות, הבטיחות והבהירות בתנאים משתנים תוך הפחתת בעית העיבוי בעדשות
