Наша школьная команда инженеров активно работает над инновационным методом добычи льда на Марсе. Несмотря на глобальный характер этой проблемы, мы прилагаем усилия для ее решения. Основные вызовы, с которыми мы сталкиваемся, включают отсутствие инвесторов и долгосрочную перспективу, поскольку колонизация Марса планируется не ранее, чем через 40-50 лет. Кроме того, данная тема является относительно новой, и у нас ограниченные ресурсы и знания в этой области. Наш проект основан на имеющейся информации о ледяном покрове Марса. По новейшим исследованиям, концентрация водного льда в криосфере на полюсах планеты ожидаемо очень высока, достигая 100%. Объем льда в полярных шапках Марса составляет 2-2,8 млн км³. Исходя из этой информации, мы пришли к выводу, что для успешной колонизации Марса необходимо эффективно использовать все возможные ресурсы планеты.Наша установка позволит синтезировать добытый лед в водород и кислород с помощью электролиза, что снизит зависимость от поставок ресурсов с Земли. Проект представляет собой макет с тремя модулями очистки льда и одним модулем добычи. Также имеется уменьшенная версия всех сооружений, расположенная на "разрезанных" слоях породы. Основное отличие нашего проекта заключается в методе очистки, основанном на аэрации, испарении и электролизе, позволяющем очищать воду от радиации, примесей и загрязнений.

Не смотря на то что эта проблема глобальная, мы прилагаем усилия чтобы ее решить. Наши основные проблемы это отсутствие инвесторов, так называемая игра в "долгую", по причине того, что колонизация Марса произойдет не раньше чем через 40-50 лет, а так же эта тема достаточно новая, и человек не обладает большим количеством ресурсов и знаний в этой сфере.
