Any source of energy, including solar energy, is typically used for electricity production as an intermediate carrier of energy. Such an approach significantly limits our capability to use different sources of energy. A solar boiler is built to collect solar energy and heat water. This is an excellent example of the direct usage of solar energy for existing needs without electricity as an intermediate carrier.

Possible usage way of formed heat is heating a 'shabbat plate' on demand using the hot air formed by passing it through a TES system (can be exchanged with oil/etc...).

using PVT (Photovoltaic - Thermal) modules - those systems use heat conection inside the PV mudule for the sake of extracting the heat built in the PV module, therefore providing the following:<ol><li>extraction of 2 forms of energy from the same system (electricity and heat), as well as much higher total energy output.</li><li>improving the efficiency of the PV module and its lifespan thanks to the heat extraction.</li><li>storage of the collected heat in a hot water storake tank or similair heat storage way.</li><li>optionally have the ability to store the excess electricity formed in the way of heat storage.</li></ol>

using residential parabolic through systems on rooftops to concentrate sulight to heat up water/oil pipes/hot air pipes.

usage of mirrors and lenses to condense the sunlight, and conduction of the light by optical fibers to distant parts of the house. its also possoble to connect the end side of the fibers to lenses and diffusers better for better lighting.

use of the heat formed for the use of powering up a condenser motor unit of an AC/heat pump. steam or compressed hot air can be made directly using parabolic mirrors or by passing air/water through a heat storage system.moreover, the hot air can be used to heat the refrigerent fluid when needed in the heat exchanger in the AC/heat pump unit and therefore making the process more efficient.

This project aims to find better ways for solar energy harvesting, storage and usage - in a non electric ways, which will offer more versatile usable energy.

there won't be an other form of energy harvested for the household. solar heat wont be extracted at all. moreover, if energy storage is wanted, there will be a need for batteries, which can be pricy, not that effective, and degrade quickly.

The system is the household system. it contains many sub-systems - which are the appliances used in a daily basis in the house.most of those subsystems are powered by electricity. but some of them could be powered by other sources such as heat, steam, light or hydrogen.all of these sources could be attained from the solar energy, directly or after a conversion process.in this brainstorming i will try to think about innovative ways to use the heating of the sun.

The system is a non-electric solar harvesting and storing system.its componentes is the solar harvsting systems, any heat extraction method, and heat storing methods.the product is usable non electric energy, and its 'by products' or 'using compomemts' are the way of usage of the non electric energy.
