This project have few problems we need to solve, the first problem is how to make multiple devices at the same time and reduce clean room time
today in the literature we are fabricating holes mold in the silicon as can be seen in the picture bellow:
we can see here that the area that need to exposed is very large and it leads to long process in the clean room
the solution is to produce the negative picture of this and create silicon pillars instead:
so we get:
after the pillars are ready we can start creating PDMS holes mold from it, first of all we will apply anti adhesive coating so we can reuse the pillars and then we will cast the pdms on it to create the mold, this will allow us to create multiple molds outside the clean room - simple and fast!
now we have multiple molds and we can create multiple devices at the same time.
