Evaluating/estimating corrosion test specimen
Current situation
- The specimen is iron steel that is new with no corrosion.
- At first, the specimen needs to be corroded.
- the second step is to find a scientific way to know how much corrosion has been left on the surface of the specimen.
Disadvantages
There are a lot of obstacles and disadvantages in the situation:
- How to corrode specimen in order to get a homogeneous rust layer on the surface of the specimen.
- How to estimate the amount of corrosion left on the specimen after using the dust remover.
Ideal final result
It will be known if the project is successful if the results match the expectations.
Problem statement
Due to the lack of sophisticated technology in the laboratory and the unwillingness to buy new technology, the problem must be solved with a current and logical solution it does not cost money.
