Get an oxidized model of the specimen
getting a homogeneous corrosion layer
corrode the specimen with salt water in a concentration of 3.5% with a volume of 1.5L, in a Pyrex glass cup, and put it on a heat plate at 35 degrees for days, until we see the specimen corroded. adding water every time the system loses util the volume is 1.5L
possible solutions to evaluate the amount of remaining corrosion on a cold-rolled steel 1008 specimen after the use of a rust remover.
for now, there is no conclusion, A few parameters need to be checked to choose the most appropriate solution to the problem.
If | the amount of corrosion was checked by transmitting a light wave and comparing swallowed wavelengths before and after using the dust remover. |
---|---|
Then | the problem will be solved |
But | need to buy sophisticated technological machines with light detectors |
If | the chosen solution is to weigh the model before and after |
---|---|
Then | it will be easy to solve the problem without sophisticated technology equipment |
But | the results are inaccurate and the experiment is unscientific |
The aim of the project is to evaluate the amount of remaining corrosion on a cold-rolled steel 1008 specimen after the use of a rust remover.
Option | Rank |
---|---|
Galvanic electrochemical cell experiment | 3 |
polarization experiment | 2 |
weight the specimen before the use of the rust removal and after | 1 |
transmitting a light wave and checking the swallowed wavelengths | 0 |

I am a bit puzzled about how the SFM tool was used. I find it interesting and I wonder what was the target of that. https://hub.priz.guru/project/2344/tools?tp=1#tool-3536
In past decades, polymeric micropillar devices have gained a great deal of attention in micro and nano technology research as the result of their potential and practical usage in many applications. This project is going to deal with the process of how to fabricate the magnetic micropillars, from the beginning â the planning and design, improving the existing process, lithography to create the base silicon mold and then creating the PDMS pillars that contains nano magnetic particles of Fe_3 O_4, the process today is not efficient enough in terms of cost and time and we are wishing to improve it, in the end we will have a device with micro-pillars that can move correspondingly to external magnetic field which will help us to do many advanced experiments in the biology field like using the device for cell stimulation.
Chilled water is used for production equipment cooling. Suddenly pH of the water started to drop. The aim of the project is to analyze the issue, understand the root cause, and propose solutions to the problem.
